If you’re looking for a day out that’s perfect whatever the weather during your visit to Flintshire, why not visit DangerPoint – indoor activity centre. DangerPoint is a day out with a difference, and luckily for you it’s all indoors, meaning you can enjoy its many pleasures come rain or shine. We are an indoor safety education centre, but let us assure you, it is a lot more fun than that makes it sound. DangerPoint is like a film set; you follow a trail around a number of different locations on your mission to complete your Danger Detective Quest. Visitors will love becoming a Danger Detective and hunting down the hidden dangers; finding all the clues necessary to solve the case. There’s also a recent addition to DangerPoint – K-os, the alien! This extra-terrestrial friend will communicate with visitors from outer space, helping them to complete their important journeys. Oh, and one more thing: make sure you bring a picnic. The picnic area is a lovely place to refresh!

Halkyn Castle Wood
Halkyn Castle Wood is home to a family-run seasonal caravan park and storage area in a stunning woodland setting. With an ethos of ‘reconnecting with nature’, the site boasts areas for families to immerse themselves in natural play; wildlife spotting, den building and traditional craft. Ideally placed to enjoy local wonders on foot and the best attractions north Wales, the Clwydian Range & Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Beauty and Cheshire have on offer. And if you need more adventure, Alpha 55 run paintball and airsoft games in the top woods every weekend and some weekdays.
Pantasaph Farm B&B

The Fat Boar
The Fat Boar Flintshire is an independently owned and run pub and restaurant in Mold, North Wales. We opened in 2015 after spending months gutting the old pub and creating a new venue which is contemporary, welcoming and somewhere that we hope you will want to spend a lot of time with family and friends.
